Just stop making music. I love the SSLP, MMLP, EE SHOW, and Recovery, and a lot of singles from other albums, but MMLP2 and Shady XV were so choppy and forced. Revival is more of the same. Just stop it. Should have quit while he was ahead.

Been seeing a lot of poor reviews for this album, which are ridiculous. It seems as though people expect Eminem’s albums to sound like his previous one. He’s one of the most successful rappers of all time, and he didn’t obtain that success by conforming to expectations, he tries new things and adapts. Ignore the poor reviews. The song Heat is spectacular (see the movie Boogie Nights).
  • Probably more like a 3.5, but I’ll give it a 4

This album is hands-down my least favorite Eminem album. But, that doesn't mean it’s garbage. His song “River” is perfect in every way in my opinion. However, the songs like “Untouchable” and “Heat” have flows that are OKAY, but the beats are horrible, and in some songs, the message delivered isn’t all that pleasant. “Walk on Water” and “River” are probably the only two good songs on this album. Some people are saying that Eminem should retire immediately, but I don't think a bad album calls for a move of that severity. When his fifth studio album “Encore” came out, it didn’t exactly get the most popular reviews, but he didn’t quit. I just think that he needs to review and maybe change his lyrics to a more positive or humorous outlook, and maybe get some different beats.
  • Dissapointing

As a fan of his old music, this stuff is so commercial sounding. Man I miss his old stuff. Guess I'm at that age where I pretty much hate all new music. I'm only 35 years old. Has hip hop really died?
