I know that I like those Deborah Cox anthems. I love a good cover. And, I love a great remix. Well, I seem to like this song better than Deborah Cox's "It's Over Now". And, I like the "Watchin' (Club Mix) better than anything else that I've heard from this collection. This rendition actually seems to provide a better vocal contribution on the vocals than on "It's Over Now". This is really a great dance anthem. And, it is unlike so many of the club songs that were emerging at the time. Where Deborah Cox is concerned, "It's Over Now" was not one of my favorite songs. It tend like most of her hit singles above that one. But, I like what Freemasons and Amanda Wilson did in creating this great club song. Other recommendations: Deborah Cox - Nobody's Supposed to Be Here (Hex Hector Club Mix) Deborah Cox - Something Happened on the Way to Heaven (Junior Vasquez Club Mix) Deborah Cox - Everybody Dance (Tony Moran Club Anthem) Beyonce - Ring the Alarm (Freemasons Club Mix) Moby - Disco Lies (Freemasons Club Mix) Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now (Freemasons Remix)

I give the song itself five stars. It's really good and it's the only one of its kind that I can listen to without cringing. I really like how this track doesn't resort to four-on-the-floor, and just delivers a solid beat around addicting vocals. However, it really isn't necessary to buy this entire single. None of the various mixes are really worth it. I do really really recommend you get your hand on this song, though.

Those that love this song should definitely download Deborah Cox's It's Over Now Remixes (especially the Hex Hector Retro-Disco Mix). The Junior Vasquez mix is my favorite of those mixes. Her vocals are nothing compared to Deborah's. I really do find myself missing the orignal verses of the Deborah Cox veriosn when I hear this update. In other words...go download the Deborah Cox version!!
  • Fun mix, but better with Deborah's voice

Amanda Wilson sings well, but the original Deborah Cox "It's Over Now" vocal sample is perfection. I prefer the early version of this track which used Deborah's voice--it's a shame Freemasons couldn't get clearance to use it for the commercial release!

It's hard to beat Deborah Cox when it comes to belting out the anthems. These mixes are fair but nowhere near as good as the Cox mixes. This song just came out a few years ago. Not sure it really needed a new cover so soon. If you like the song, get the original Deborah Cox ones.
