Down Memory Lane
I attended this tour in Detroit --Pine Knob-- in 1983. I remember being embarrased for the Hollies because there were about 500 people in the stands (I think the Knob holds about 15,000). I recall that their harmonies were pitch-perfect, and the crowd (such as we were) really responded to Nash's two song accoustic feature. The set order is the same as my recollection, and I know I was bummed that they started with I Can't Let Go (should have been saved for the encore). Stop In The Name Of Love was getting airplay at the time, but the rest of the reunion album was cutout bin material. Summary -- buy this for the hits. This was as good as they ever sounded live!
