  • Lee Perry is the Master!

This was my first introduction to Lee Perry and, therefore, totally unforgettable. It's a great album and Perry is, in my opinion the most important figure EVER in reggae (yes, including Bob, sorry, Bob). Perry is a great artist, but even more important as a producer. Like I said, a great album. However, if you already know a little about him, or are just supremely confident that he is the bomb, by all means, skip this album and just buy Arkology, his box set, it is a great summary of everything he did in the late 70's and before. Also, check out Augustus Pablo and The Congoes.
