  • Die 4 Love alone gives this 5 stars!

Die 4 Love absolutely blew me away! It's everything that an Erasure song should be! How this song made it onto Reason as a b-side, instead of being a track on Violet Flame, is beyond me. D4L is classic Erasure and one of the best b-sides to come along since Love Me All Night Long. Erasure has long been known for giving their fans extras with their b-sides and Die 4 Love has taken its place among my most favorite of their many b-sides. Kudos Vince and Andy - you nailed it with this song!
  • So worth it!

Excellent dance mixes that retain full vocals, a new, top-notch b-side, & remixes of 2 other album tracks? Yes, please!! Erasure score yet again & give fans more than we could ask for.
  • Love it

The extended mix is incredible, and Reason is a great single on its own, but Die 4 Love is their best "b-side" since Don't Suppose.
  • Die 4 Love

I was worried that we might not be hearing any additional songs from The Violet Flame sessions, as both the deluxe edition and first single ("Elevation") did not include the dependable b-side track we Erasure fans have been spoiled for over their many singles. Yet finally have such a track in "Die 4 Love" and what a track it is. This b-side is no throwaway and even surpasses material on the album proper. The chorus is a knock-out, as Andy's vocals reaching great heights while Vince's unique synths comes through strong in the notes he plays. Lyrically and in tone it fits well within The Violet Flame template. The remixes are all wonderful as well with the "Parralox" remix of "Reason" my favorite. For added variety there is also a remix of album track "Sacred" (breathtaking) and another of "Dead of Night" (interesting). But I'm here for the b-side.
